Leigh Wood Leigh Wood (manager)

Leigh is in his first season as Manager of City’s first team after seeing last years reserves to promotion at his first attempt. He claims to be 28 and hails from Chesterfield.

Leigh works for Tameside MBC as a Sports Development Officer and lists his favourite team as (you guessed it) Man Utd, with Bryan Robson as his favourite player. Leigh writes his worst habit is picking his nose which he presumably does whilst watching his favourite film Twin Town. He enjoys listening to Red Hot Chilli Peppers and has Sunday Roast down as his favourite meal. Both of which he does whilst hopefully not picking his nose

One of Leigh’s secrets is that he is the North West ‘facebook’ Champion (internet game) and is an avid player whenever he isn’t at training

Leigh ranks playing in the Giants Stadium in New York along with last seasons Reserve promotion as his best footballing moment. The person he most admires, quite rightly, is his dad and his ambition is to make Man City Ladies into one of the top teams in England
Charlotte Farrell Charlotte Farrell (defender)

The legend that is Charlotte Farrell is 20 years old and previously attended Manchester University. She was born and now lives in Rochdale.

Her best position is centre back although Charlotte would probably say centre forward. Nicknamed ‘Char’, she lists Wayne Rooney and Vidic as her favourite players, both of whom, like Charlotte, love a tackle.

One of her worst habits is biting her nails, it would take too long to write down the others . She lists chilli, spaghetti, Nando’s and chicken & sweetcorn sandwiches (butties in Rochdale) as her favourite food. Her best film is ‘Finding Nemo’, aahh, and her favourite artist is Britney Spears, double aahh.

She thinks beating Fulham in the FA with City was her best football moment and she puts getting a decent job as her ambition although she been a sales person, post woman, trained as a Pilot and worked at SubWay already this season

She lists her worst habit as her mobile. Her favourite meals are Sunday Roast or Chilli, whilst her best film is ‘Man on Fire’.

The music she enjoys listening to the most is ‘the oldies’, which the person she most admires, her mum, would probably agree with. Her best football moment was playing for England U19’s and her ambition is to be healthy and rich, very rich.
